A total mind-body workout, yoga combines strengthening and stretching, moving your body through various positions, and peacefully improving your fitness, flexibility, breathing and balance.

A full body exercise, designed to lengthen, strengthen and support the body from within, pilates benefits posture, improves sleep, balances mood, narrows your waist and flattens your abs.

LIGHTHOUSE CREATOR
Kristin's goal is to help people feel comfortable in their own skin, and reveal to them their beauty and value.
At two years old she began ballet. Despite being told she was not 'built' to be a ballerina, Kristin continued to dance, and play sports, all the way through high school because it made her happy, fostered healthy relationships ... and it felt good! After ballet, it was pilates, which brought mindfulness to the movement, and on to barre, which has literally shaped her into who she is today. Kristin loves her body more now than she did before kids!

Terra
BARRE
Terra brings positive energy and expertise to every aspect of her work. As a real estate broker, barre instructor and wellness enthusiast, Terra helps people love where they live and how they live. She loves sharing her joy of movement and the satisfaction of a great workout - leaving students feeling energized, empowered, and ready to take on the day!
When she's not helping clients find their dream homes or leading a fun and challenging barre class, she enjoy golfing, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.

YOGA
Katie Pearson has been involved in the fitness world for nearly 25 years, specializing in yoga teaching and instructor training around the country. She believes that the practice of presence and embodiment are essential to our wellbeing.
More than anything, she loves to hold a space for others to find strength, celebrate rest, learn to breathe, and experience a joyful, accepting community like Lighthouse!

Jeffrey
BARRE-BATA
As a personal trainer, Jeffrey loves motivating people to accomplish things they never thought possible. Having suffered plantar fasciitis, he understands the feelings of hopelessness that come with significant weight gain and chronic pain. Regular exercise improved his mental and physical health and rapidly became the best part of his daily routine.
"There is a huge emotional component in exercise for me... it has shifted how I live my life and inspired me to work with people who have gone through similar situations or are having feelings of displacement from their minds or bodies."

As the owner of the local Kaleidoscope Farms on Bainbridge, Heidi's guiding principles are to take care of the earth, care for the people, and return the surplus.
She lives this mantra not only by growing wholesome food, but also by nurturing the community as a barre instructor. She brings her expertise and a sense of humor to every class!

Julie believes exercise is a celebration of what the body can do...it is a gift!
With a 10 year history in healthcare working as an Occupational Therapist, she believes whole heartedly in investing in fitness at every stage of life, to prepare your body for everything life has to offer.

PILATES
Jennifer started practicing Pilates in 2001 in Alaska and has since taught along the West Coast, USA and internationally.
"Our bodies are constantly changing and the application of Pilates changes with it. That's what keeps this interesting and engaging for me after 20+ years. I love working with beginners because I've seen how transformational this modality can be!"
